Welcome!

Benjamin Jerred is an artist who lives in Fulton, NY. He has taught college art, graphic design, and web design, and is currently an elementary art teacher at two schools in Fulton.

He has painted two local murals: one in downtown Fulton in 2009 and another in 2011 at St. Luke’s Health Services in Oswego. He has contributed artwork for a few years to YMCA fundraisers, and is interested in drawing, painting, bookmaking, animation, digital art, and most recently drawing comics. Jerred keeps an informal online art journal at benjerred.wordpress.com.

Helping others recognize art as an ancient human gift and take command of their innate grasp of art is a large motivator in his life. Jerred is also very interested in art’s many detailed processes, and the recombination of ideas made possible through constructive imagination and collaboration with others.
